My fiances father had a mild heart attack 3 days ago,I have missed 3 days of work to be there for her....?

and her family. We are all pretty close and her father is like my 2nd dad.Is it wrong for me to miss work to be with her and her family in this time of need? Only serious answers PLEASE!
