my employer changed my work schedule w/o notifying me, ive lost hours what can i do?

who can i talk to about this, a lawyer around riverside, sanbernadino area? ive lost hours, i am sick of it , they also tried to get me to sign a paper saying my work hours have been increased,nobody else,including my son, wich works the same company,the same shift,was not even mentioned to any one else?
